I am so glad that you're here.
My name is Susannah, I am your local lifestyle family and newborn photographer, mama to the sweetest little toddler, and wife to my hardworking hubby.
Photographing moms with their families is something that I absolutely love because I know how much I appreciate having photos with my own family, somehow it is so difficult for me to actually be in a photo with my family, (and even harder for me to actually like the photo of myself.) But those photos that I do have with my loves, I will always cherish.
It is a gift for me to be able to provide this service to other moms as well!
Hooray for autumn, my favorite season! (I know that it still feels like summer most days here in St. Cloud, but fall is quickly coming. Especially with this drought, I've been noticing that leaves are changing colors in my yard already.)
Time to plan your annual family photo shoot!
I know that budgets are tight, and time is limited - Not everyone is ready to commit to a full hour long family session this year, or maybe you've never had your family's photos done and aren't sure what to expect. I totally get it! A fall mini session might be a great option for your family.
Wonderful autumn - The season where trees are gorgeous, the breeze is brisk, sweaters can finally be worn again, and the holidays are right around the corner.
Make a family day of it! Go out for ice cream, play your favorite games, then get dressed in your session outfits, hop in the car with your love and your kiddos, turn on your favorite music and enjoy the short drive to your photo session destination (this year's location is in St. Cloud, MN)
Join me for twenty minutes of stress-free fun with your family as I encourage you to laugh and interact with one another during your fall family photo session for natural family photos.
A mini session is that perfect length of time to create a few beautiful family pictures for mom without overwhelming reluctant dads or tired toddlers (plus, there will be fall themed treats at the end!)

The Details
Saturday, September 16th, 2023
St. Cloud, MN
• 20 minute time slot
• 10 high resolution downloadable images with a print release
• Fast delivery of final gallery, within one week
• Online gallery with convenient access to your personal professional print and product store
The location
A lovely park along the Sauk River in north west St. Cloud.
The main session area will be this wooden walking bridge that crosses the Sauk River, but there are nearby open areas to add a little extra variety of background and lighting to your session's final gallery.
A 50% non-refundable retainer is due at time of booking to reserve your spot, the remaining 50% will be due by the day of the session.
These sessions are for one family unit with a maximum of 5 people (due to the time constraint, a full family session is generally better to accommodate larger families - Feel free to reach out regarding your specific situation, however, and I'd be happy to chat with you about whether a mini session would still be a good fit for your family.)

What is a fall family mini session?
A mini session is a specially designed photo shoot that is held at a set location and only offered on a specific day, it's a lesser price than a normal session with fewer images and a shorter time commitment for your family, but you still get a beautiful high quality gallery delivered with no extra fees for downloading your image.
How soon will I receive my finally gallery?
Your gallery will be delivered within a week, you can easily order Christmas cards, prints, and wall art directly from your gallery to share with friends and family, and update the annual family photos on your wall!
What if it rains?
The mini sessions are scheduled for Saturday September 16th, 2023 - If there is bad weather, the rain date will be the same time slots on the following day, Sunday, September 17th, 2023. Please plan accordingly when you book your session.
How do I pay for my session?
You will be able to pay your non-refundable retainer online at the time of booking, you will be invoiced for the remainder on the day of your session. You can choose to pay this online, or you are welcome to bring your payment to the session.
Do I have to pay to download my images?
No, I know how hard it can be to choose a favorite image - It is important to me as a photographer that all images in your final gallery are yours to keep without incurring additional charges.
You will receive a print release as well so that you have full permission to print them for personal use, such as hanging on your wall, Christmas cards, gifts for grandparents, etc.,

I am so glad you dropped by - Documenting your family's love for each other and the (rapidly passing) stage that your children are currently in is such a special thing!
While I am not currently offering mini sessions in 2024 my booking calendar for regular sessions still has some dates left. I'd love to work with your family to create a beautiful experience for you all to enjoy together.
